There are three distinct phases to the methodology:
Writing Machine does not invent top level positioning messages on behalf of an organisation. We do, however, facilitate a mechanism to identify and clarify them. The objective is to unleash existing knowledge within the organisation and craft the marketing messages into a format which is highly logical, highly distinctive, and very practical.
Having agreed the top level marketing messages, Writing Machine then combines desk research and interviews to examine how these messages are reflected and reinforced in many related areas.
There is no point in undertaking this very important messaging work if it is not used to pro-actively improve the communications activities of an organisation. It must, therefore, be implemented.
But, just as no two companies are the same in terms of their positioning, it is also true that organisations differ a great deal in terms of what implementation activities they wish to undertake. Your particular requirements will be discussed prior to the start of phase three.
