Writing training for competitive businesses

Writing matters.

If your employees write marketing information then it matters that they capture their audience. Or if they write sales emails and presentations, then it matters that they write competitively. Or maybe they produce bids worth thousands of pounds. Then it’s a no brainer – the words can make or break the deal.

Writing matters. Because whichever way you look at it, writing is business-critical.

A modular approach to writing training

Of course, every organisation or department has different writing challenges. That’s why Writing Machine’s writing training courses follow a modular approach.

One-day courses
Our one-day courses teach delegates the core skills they need for smarter and better planning, structuring, crafting and reviewing – skills that can be applied to all writing activities.

Two-day courses

Our two-day courses follow the same structure as the one-day course on the first day. On day two, however, you can also select three ‘In Practice’ modules, which apply writing theory to a range of business needs – for sales teams, bid teams, marketing teams or simply for day-to-day business writing.

Available In Practice modules
Using experience gleaned from more than twenty years of professional writing, Writing Machine offers a comprehensive range of In Practice modules to suit a number of business and departmental needs. You can select three of these modules for a two-day course:

• Executive Summary writing
• How to write cold sales emails
• Persuasive PowerPoint
• Marketing DM writing
• Grammar
• Punctuation
• Tone of Voice*
• Briefing other writers
• Writing for the web

Bespoke modules
We can also work with you to develop bespoke modules suited to the precise needs of your business or department. This will incur an extra charge.

Whichever course and modules you choose, we can deliver it at your premises to teams of up to 12 people. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.

*This module will need bespoke development and will therefore incur an extra charge.
